请务必不要把 will和want／wish／would like互相混淆。will表示一个意图+达成该意图的决心：I will buy it．等于：I intend to buy it．／Im going to buy it．我要买它。／我筹备买它。want／wish／would like仅仅表示一种愿望，它并不提供任何有关计划如何做的信息。（参见第296与第299节。）B 然而应该注意Id like常可以代替 Ill have／take：Customer（in a shop）：Id like／Ill have a pound of peas， please．客户（在商店里）：我想要／我要买一磅豌豆。Diner（in a restaurant）：Id like／Ill have the soup，please．客户（在饭店里）：请给我来份这种汤。would like和 will都可以用于表示邀请：Would you like a drink？／Will you have a drink？请你喝一杯怎么样？当表示同意邀请时，两种形式都可用：Id like／Ill have a sherry， please．请给我来一杯雪利酒。但在否定句中，这两种形式不可以互换。因此，假如拒绝邀请就需要说：I wont have anything，thanks．／I dont want anything，thanks．谢谢，我什么也不要。wouldnt like意指不喜欢。因此，这里不可以用 wouldnt like。
